About this opportunity

Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is procuring 11 aircraft footrests (NSN 1R-1680-994467714-P8) with a response deadline of November 29, 2026. This is a sole-source procurement limited to Government-approved sources only; the aircraft part is flight-critical and technical data is insufficient to support full and open competition.

Only vendors previously approved by the Government for this item have been solicited. Unapproved sources may compete only by submitting source-approval documentation with their proposal, drawing from NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures for either spares or repair. Proposals lacking all required source-approval data will not be considered for award. If a source-approval request is currently under NAVSUP WSS evaluation, vendors must include a copy of the cover letter forwarding that request with their offer.

Delivery is FOB origin. NAVSUP notes that if source-approval evaluation cannot be completed in time to meet fleet support needs, award may proceed based on approved-source availability. Vendors should consult the NAVSUP WSS business-opportunities portal for applicable source-approval requirements and technical data submission guidance.
