About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source Cost Reimbursement contract to Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC) in Warner Robins, GA. The contract is for engineering support to enhance the existing NAVAIR MH-60 National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Structural Analysis (NASTRAN) Finite Element Model (FEM). The scope includes conducting structural static and fatigue modeling, developing and improving the MH-60 crack and corrosion database, and providing other engineering services to support MH-60 regime recognition tasks. The period of performance is anticipated to be one base year plus four one-year options starting in Fiscal Year 2025.
Paragraph 2:
This procurement is not set aside. MERC is the sole source provider due to its specialized expertise, technical data, and experience in performing these efforts.
