About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support (WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to repair three Navy weapon system components: one Visible Channel Assembly, one Circuit Card Assembly, and one Pitch Yaw Amplifier for the Swiss government. The repair work must include all necessary labor, materials, and facilities to restore these government-owned articles to operational condition. NAVSUP WSS intends to solicit only one source, Raytheon Company, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, citing the government's lack of data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture. While this is not a request for competitive proposals, all responsible sources may submit capability statements demonstrating their interest and capacity to perform the work. The government will accept proposals from any source received within five days of the synopsis notice publication dated February 26, 2026, with a due date of February 27, 2026. The determination to compete the contract remains solely at the government's discretion.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and targets Raytheon Company as the identified single source. Prospective contractors who are not approved sources must submit source approval information as detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair, and such approval will not delay contract award. The procurement involves repair of three specific items identified by National Stock Numbers (7R1680015752884, 7R5998015164249, and 7R1680015285513), each with a quantity of one. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. This opportunity falls under Product Service Code 1680, Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components, and is classified as a Department of Defense procurement opportunity.
