About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia is seeking contractors to repair multiple aircraft components for the country of Taiwan under a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract. The procurement involves labor, materials, and facilities necessary to repair and restore government-owned articles to operational condition, specifically amplifiers and processor groups used in aircraft systems. The government intends to award this contract to a single source, Data Link Solutions (081U3), under FAR 6.302-1 authority due to the lack of technical data necessary for repairs. Source approval is required for any contractors not already approved, and NAVSUP will not delay award while approval is pending. Interested parties must submit capability statements within 5 days of the synopsis publication date of July 16, 2025, with the overall due date of August 4, 2025.
This contract opportunity has no set-aside designation and appears to favor the incumbent contractor Data Link Solutions. While no specific contract value is provided in the synopsis, the scope includes repairing 5 units of Amplifier P/N K310A104-21 and 4 units of Processor Group P/N K310A106-20, totaling 9 aircraft components requiring restoration services. The items fall under PSC category 1680 for Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components, indicating specialized defense equipment. The timeline appears standard for government contracting, with the 5-day response window for initial interest and the August 4 deadline providing approximately 19 days from posting for full proposal submission. Companies without existing source approval must simultaneously submit detailed qualification information as outlined in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure.
