SYNOPSIS-
The USACE Baltimore District anticipate issuance of a request for quote (RFQ) which will result in the award of a firm-fixed-price contract with a base period of 12-months and two (2) 12-months option periods.
This notice serves as a pre-solicitation. The solicitation,(W912DR-15-T-0056). The request for quote (RFQ) will be for contractors to furnish all of Washington Aqueduct's with Fluorosilicic Acid 25% (H2SiF6) for the treatment the Delecarlia water treatment plants. Fluorosilicic Acid shall conform to the requirements of ANSI/AWWA StandardB703, latest revision, for Fluorosilicic Acid, except and shall conform to NSF/ANSI Standard 60.
This requirement NAICS code is 424690 and 100% total Small Business Set-Aside. This requirement must be provided in strict accordance with the solicitation that will be available on or around March 26, 2015. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System (https://www.fbo.gov/index). Contractor's requests for this solicitation must be performed through the FedBizOpps.gov website. Accounts may only be attained by SAM-registered contractors; you must be registered with the System for Award Management Database (SAM) to receive a government contract award. You may register in SAM at http://www.sam.gov.
All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to cheley.auguste@usace.army.mil or fax to (410) 962-2001. Quotes can be submitted via e-mail or mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Simplified Acquisition Team, 10 South Howard Street, 7th floor, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201-2530.
