The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific, in support of MEDCOM, intends to make a sole source award to Hamamatsu-Queen's PET Imaging Center for a firm fixed-price contract for Fluorodeoxyglucose 18 (FDG-18) for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii. The NAICS code of this procurement is 325412. This requirement is for a period from 01 October 2024 through 30 September 2029 (base and four (4) one-year option periods).
The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) which authorizes the Government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirement under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotatation which shall be considered by the agency.
