BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. Only BAE can provide aircraft with the required substantial modifications already completed, to include but not limited to: aircraft capable of carrying an external pod on a centerline hardpoint; liquid cooling and large amount of power available throughout the fuselage and to the centerline hardpoint; high precision Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) mount; wingtip camera wiring & mounts; unique antenna mounts in the aircraft nose, fuselage, wingtips, and vertical tail for unique antennas, and associated waveguide and cabling; custom mounts for lasers; and integration of several customized test pods.
The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Time and Materials and Firm Fixed Price line items for a maximum of 600 aircraft flight test hours in the base period and 300 aircraft flight test hours in the option period, plus hours for ground support and aircraft modifications/repairs, materials and other direct costs. The ordering period will be two (2) years with an option to extend for one (1) additional year. Delivery schedules will be included in individual orders.
Security clearance, including capability to fabricate, modify, or store classified hardware, up to and including Top Secret is required in the performance of this contract. Performance will be at China Lake, CA and other designated sites within the Continental United States.
