About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking a contractor to perform repair and modification of F-condition wing landing flaps for aircraft. This solicitation, posted on April 29, 2025, with proposals due by May 29, 2025, focuses on aircraft parts repair services within the Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing sector. The contract requires a precise Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) of 110 days after asset receipt, with contractors required to accurately report transactions within five business days and obtain final government inspection and acceptance. The procurement emphasizes meeting specific throughput constraints and maintaining commercial asset visibility throughout the repair process. Evaluation will likely center on the contractor's ability to meet these technical and procedural requirements efficiently.

The solicitation does not indicate any specific set-aside designations, suggesting the opportunity is open to all qualified contractors. While no specific award value is mentioned, the contract includes provisions for reconciliation modifications after final inspection and acceptance of repaired assets. Contractors must be prepared to handle multiple assets monthly, with an induction expiration date of 365 days after contract award. The place of performance will be the contractor's facility, where they will receive, repair, and return aircraft wing landing flaps to the Navy. Key numerical details include a requirement for contractors to specify their monthly throughput capacity, with the understanding that a throughput of zero indicates no constraint. The contract prioritizes early and incremental deliveries and is classified under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing.
