About this opportunity

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to solicit on a sole-source basis for flap and wing landing replacement parts and repair/modification services, with a pre-solicitation notice response deadline of August 31, 2026.

The procurement covers three line items totaling 26 units across NSNs 7RH 1560 016233680 (quantity 2), 7RH 1560 016659591 (quantity 12), and 7RH 1560 016659592 (quantity 12), all associated with part number 74A183101-1010. Delivery is FOB origin.

The items are flight-critical and require Government source approval prior to contract award. Engineering source approval by the design control activity is mandatory to maintain part quality. The approved source retains unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing or repair knowledge that are not economically available to the Government and are essential to maintaining quality. An alternate source must qualify according to the design control activity's procedures and receive approval from the cognizant Government engineering activity having jurisdiction. The qualification timeline typically prevents award delay pending new-source approval.

Only Government-approved sources have been solicited. Unapproved sources may submit proposals accompanied by source approval information as detailed in NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochures available at the NAVSUP Business Opportunities portal, with separate guidance provided for spares and repair transactions.
