About this opportunity
The Illinois Army National Guard's 182d Airlift Wing is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying new or certified pre-owned commercial gym fitness equipment, specifically plate-loaded ISO lateral machines including an incline press, row, lat pulldown, shoulder press, and glute thrust equipment. The Department of the Army is seeking sources that can not only deliver and install these items at their Peoria, Illinois facility but also accept trade-in credit for existing used equipment as part of the transaction. Key requirements include compliance with commercial standards for durability, safety, and functionality; provision of a minimum one-year warranty on all new or certified pre-owned equipment; optional maintenance agreement offerings; and completion of delivery and installation within 90 days of contract award. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment to contract. Interested vendors must submit their responses by December 9, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. CST via email to Nicholas Marzinzik at nicholas.marzinzik@us.af.mil, with responses limited to five pages and including a completed response form, statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, key personnel and resources outline, and a list of comparable contracts from the past three years.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside with a small business size standard of 750 employees under NAICS code 339920 (Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing). No incumbent contractor or specific award value has been identified in the notice. The specific quantity of equipment units and total contract value have not been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, as this is strictly a market research phase to gauge vendor availability and capability before formal solicitation development.
