Added: May 04, 2015 2:07 pm The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) is seeking quotes to provide services and equipment to support training trips aboard a commercial fishing vessel in support of the Northeast Fisheries Observer Program (NEFOP).

This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the acquisition is 541712 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.0. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81 effective 10 April 2015. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price purchase order on an "all or none" basis for all items. The Award will be made to the quoter whose quote meets all of the specifications and solicitation requirements. The anticipated award date is May 15, 2015. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFQ, Statement of Work, and all subsequent amendments.
The solicitation will be available electronically on or about May 4, 2015 via FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the agency. To be eligible for award, vendors must obtain a DUNS number (this may be done by calling 1-800-333-0505) and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM): www.sam.gov. No award shall be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. Amendments to the solicitation will also be provided on the Internet using the same protocol listed above.
