About this opportunity
NASA is soliciting proposals for science investigations and instruments to be integrated into at least six observatories for the Geospace Dynamics Constellation program. Proposals are sought from educational institutions, non-profits, federally funded research centers, NASA centers, and other government agencies to advance understanding of fundamental geospace physics. A mandatory notice of intent was due by June 23, 2021 and final proposals are now due by September 22, 2021 under solicitation number NNH17ZDA004O-GDC. The agency will evaluate proposals to select investigations to form a complete science payload within the cost cap, with first instrument delivery due by December 2025.
There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. The primary NAICS code is 541715 and PSC code is 1160. No incumbent or current contractors were identified. The solicitation does not specify award values or budget ranges but seeks proposals for science investigations and instruments to be integrated onto at least six observatories over an approximately four-year performance period. International organizations may participate on a no-exchange-of-funds basis. Work will be performed at contractor and NASA facilities.
