About this opportunity

This pre-solicitation notice indicates the Government intends to use sole source procurement authority under FAR 6.302-1 because they do not own the technical data rights needed for competitive procurement, and it would be uneconomical to purchase these rights or reverse engineer the part. The agency is required to provide notice to allow other responsible sources to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. While this is not a request for competitive proposals, any proposals, quotations, or capability statements received within 45 days of publication (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) will be considered by the Government. The response deadline for this opportunity is July 21, 2025, with the original posting date of April 8, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it available to all eligible contractors. The contract calls for a quantity of 1 each (1 AY) with delivery terms FOB Origin, and the technical data package is version 002. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in this pre-solicitation notice. The Government maintains sole discretion in determining whether to proceed with competitive procurement based on responses received to this notice.
