About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Field Kit (NSN: 2840-01-HS3-7537) manufactured by General Electric Company. The kit consists of several aircraft turbine engine components, including a High Pressure Turbine Matched Assembly, various seals, a nozzle assembly, and a combustion liner. Potential sources must demonstrate the ability to provide traceability directly to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The USCG is seeking detailed information from interested businesses through a sources sought synopsis, with responses required by April 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM EDT. Interested companies must submit specific information including company details, business size, NAICS code, and responses to a comprehensive set of qualification questions.

This pre-solicitation notice does not represent a formal solicitation and does not guarantee a contract award. The USCG is specifically interested in understanding the market capabilities for this specialized Field Kit, with a focus on gathering information about potential suppliers' qualifications, certifications, and past government contract experience. The market research will help determine if small businesses, including those in disadvantaged, Hub Zone, woman-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned categories, can meet the technical requirements. Companies are encouraged to provide details about their GSA schedule listings, experience with other government agencies, and product usage references. After reviewing responses, the USCG will determine whether to proceed with a formal solicitation on SAM.gov, with interested firms required to submit a complete proposal at that time.
