About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of the Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure a Fiber Channel Network Switch (NIIN: 015160771, P/N: 3081000-201) through a sole source contract. The agency intends to award the contract to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or a non-prime source without competition, unless another responsible source identifies their interest and capability to respond within 45 days (or 30 days if the award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). The government will consider all proposals received during this period before making a final decision on whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
This procurement is not set-aside for any particular business category. The relevant NAICS code is likely 334118 (Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing), and the PSC code would be 7025 (ADP Input/Output and Storage Devices). The agency plans to purchase one unit of the required item, but no specific award value or budget range is provided in the solicitation notice.
