Title:
Effort to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for 8-yard dumpsters and weekly dumping services at 16 FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) located in the various municipalities designated disaster areas in accordance with Presidential Disaster Declaration DR-4473-PR. (See Attachment #1 for Map of Designated Municipalities)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested by the due date above. The solicitation number is RFQ #70FBR218Q00000026 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562111, Solid Waste Collection.
This effort is solicited as a local area set-aside in accordance with the Robert T. Stafford and Local Community Recovery Act of 2006. Per FAR 26.202 Local Area Preference, preference shall be given, to the extent feasible and practicable, to local firms doing business in the area affected by DR-4473-PR.
Description of Requirement:
Contractors shall furnish one 8-yard dumpster at each location requested by FEMA within 24 hours of FEMA’s order and provide weekly dump service. The Government's intent is to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to fulfill the requirement for dumpster services at 16 FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers. The exact location of the DRCs is unknown at the time of this solicitation.
The required period of performance for these services consists of a three (3) month base period of performance with three (3), one (1) month option periods for a total estimated period of performance of six (6) months. The ceiling price for this blanket purchase agreement is $325,000.00.
The Government will be obligated only to the extent of authorized call orders issued under the BPA. Individual call orders shall not exceed $100,000.00. A list of individuals authorized to make purchases under the BPA shall be furnished to the contractor by the Contracting Officer.
