This is a sources-sought notice and Request for Information only; submission does not commit the FDIC to award a contract or pay for information provided. The anticipated NAICS is 541310 (Architectural Services; $12.5 million size standard), and the FDIC does not participate in set-asides—all sources are encouraged to respond regardless of size or socioeconomic status.
Work encompasses comprehensive A/E services for FDIC owned and leased facilities nationwide, with primary focus on Washington, DC Metropolitan Area properties. The contractor must deliver a multi-disciplinary team capable of concurrent project delivery across space planning, interior and exterior renovations, building system upgrades, mechanical/electrical/structural engineering, fire protection, landscaping, move management, and construction administration. The contractor must self-perform a minimum of 51 percent of work by contract dollar value, maintain Revit and BIM expertise, demonstrate working knowledge of IBM Maximo/TRIRIGA facility management systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD 2024.
The estimated contract ceiling for A/E services is $19 million over the entire performance period, with total capital improvement and major repair projects anticipated to reach approximately $200 million including construction costs. Work will be issued through Task Assignments with firm-fixed-price or time-and-materials pricing; contractors must submit task proposals within three business days of issuance.
Interested firms must submit a completed Market Research Questionnaire, Capabilities Statement, and Project Information Form(s) electronically by the deadline. The FDIC reserves the right to use submitted information to create a competitive solicitation, which may be by invitation only or released to the general public at the FDIC's discretion. The draft Statement of Work is dated July 30, 2026.
