The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates the need for a firm-fixed-price contract for a project entitled Replace Generator - Phase II at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Cumberland. FCI Cumberland is a federal correctional institution at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Beckley) located in Beaver, West Virginia.
The following brief synopsis should not be considered inclusive of work required to complete the project. The project consists of providing all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to finalize the installation of the new 2000 kw diesel generator installed under a separate Phase I contract (the Specifications will contain all complete information upon posting of official Solicitation).
Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range).
