This opportunity is now available for full and open competition. Public bid opening will occur at 2:30 PM EST on August 28, 2014 in Pittsburgh, PA. Successful low bidder will close four well sites in Marion and Harrison County, West Virginia. Estimated price range is less than $30,000. Work will consist of backfilling existing monitoring wells with gravel and cement and bentonite concrete slurry to completely fill in the open wells. All wells will be filled via tremie method. Depths of wells range from 40 to 490 feet. The IFB will result in a single, firm fixed price contract to be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Contractors must have ACTIVE registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.

Four well sites will be closed upon completion of specified tasks. Three sites are located in Marion County, and one site is located in Harrison County, West Virginia.
