About this opportunity

The Naval Supply Systems Command within the Department of the Navy has issued Fair Opportunity to Quote N0010425YRA46 for the repair of a specific valve component identified by NIIN 011259830. This special notice, posted on January 5, 2026, represents a competitive solicitation among qualified respondents with an April 2, 2026 deadline. The procurement falls under the Industrial Valve Manufacturing industry classification (NAICS 332911) and applies to nonpowered valves (PSC 4820). The government intends to make a single award to the most advantageous contractor. This fair opportunity notice is designed to ensure transparent competition among capable vendors in the defense supply chain.

Contractors interested in responding must submit proposals by April 2, 2026, including completed pricing for base quantities, total contract price (Section B), proposed delivery schedule (Section F), cost data (Section L), and an on-time delivery report. The government will evaluate offers based on a best value tradeoff analysis prioritizing on-time delivery performance as the primary non-cost factor, followed by cost and cost risk considerations. To be eligible for award consideration, offerors must submit technically acceptable proposals that comply fully with all instructions and terms without exceptions or objections; those failing to meet technical acceptability will be eliminated from consideration. All units will be shipped F.O.B. Origin, and all terms and conditions of the base contract will apply to the resulting order. Proposals remain valid for 90 days from the due date, and the government reserves the right to request additional information. Interested parties should contact Madison Gray at NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg for further clarification.
