About this opportunity

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking potential contractors to provide comprehensive manufacturing engineering and technical support services, specifically targeting precision machining, metrology, fabrication, grinding, and related services for various materials including high-yield carbon steel plates and pre-cut shapes. The procurement falls under NAICS code 332312 for Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing, with the agency conducting market research to identify qualified vendors. The procurement will cover services for diverse materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, titanium alloys, and non-metallic products like photopolymer and nylon. Although a precise award value is not specified, the comprehensive nature of the services and the multi-year performance period suggest a potentially significant contract opportunity. The government emphasizes that this sources sought notice is for informational and market research purposes, and no contract will be awarded directly from this announcement.
