The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA has awarded on a full and open competition basis a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to VOTAW Precision Technologies Inc., for a F/A-18 E/F/G alignment fixture. The new fixture will locate and securely hold the Fuselage of an F/A-18 E/F/G aircraft while it is separated into subassemblies to facilitate repair procedures. The airframe will then be reassembled in the Fixture maintaining compliance with blueprint specifications. The contractor shall disassemble, remove, and de-militarize the existing fixture prior to the start of installation.. Awarded Vendors: VOTAW Precision Technologies Inc.. Drawings and specifications referenced in this synopsis and the forthcoming solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are ONLY available to vendor's/contractor's appointed data custodians that are registered with the Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors/Contractors that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Restricted drawings and technical information will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities Website at http://www.fbo.gov, as an attachment to the solicitation.
