About this opportunity

Pacific Air Forces seeks procurement and delivery of ForceMate cold work bushing installation kits for F-35 Integrated Power Package and drop link bushing repairs at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, with proposals due July 29. The procurement is restricted to a single brand—Fatigue Technology Inc. (FTI)—based on the F-35 Joint Program Office mandatory Action Request A-S136-20260423-042903649, which explicitly requires ForceMate tooling (Application Numbers 1047 and 1048 series) and prohibits substitution or use of equivalent products.

Place of performance is Eielson AFB, Alaska 99702. The Independent Government Estimate is $40,408.50. The requirement mandates strict compliance with the proprietary Lockheed Martin/FTI ForceMate Tip Sheet #197635 (Revision B), an ITAR-controlled document specifying exact part numbers. Mixing FTI tooling with components from other manufacturers is explicitly prohibited because incompatible tooling could compromise structural integrity of titanium lugs, void airworthiness certifications, and jeopardize aircraft and pilot safety. The procurement consists of 19 line items (two parallel sets of components for FAN 1047 and FAN 1048 applications), including Starting Hole Gages, Mandrels, Mandrel Gages, Jaws, Removal Jaws, Removal Collars, one Puller Unit (CP12-2), and one Pump (FTP-19), each quantity one. Delivery is scheduled for 40 weeks from award. The NAICS code is 336413, Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing; PSC is 5365. The acquisition is conducted under Revolutionary FAR Overhaul procedures as a simplified acquisition below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Offerors must submit a cover letter confirming understanding of requirements and commitment to performance standards via email to gonzalo.loaiza_alzate@us.af.mil and morgan.hockaday@us.af.mil.
