Question: On the drawings it shows an evaporator and condenser length...are

external fixtures or are we responsible for manufacturing something?



Answer: The evaporator and condenser are separate external fixtures not

included. This

information is used by the manufacturer for locating their heat source and heat

sink for

thermal characterization and testing requirements per Notes 1 and 6.

charge the inner pipe with Freon or anything?



Answer: Prior heat pipes that were delivered to our drawing specifications used

water as

an internal working fluid inside the heat pipe and were tested after

manufacture to

demonstrate that they met the heat transfer properties defined in note 1 of the

drawing

specifications.
