About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 is seeking a contractor to provide Legionella water testing services. The contractor will be tasked with collecting and analyzing water samples at specified VA facilities in Texas, in accordance with the Statement of Work. Key requirements include meeting current state and federal (EPA) qualifications, providing all necessary personnel and equipment, and submitting detailed reporting. Offers are due by October 9, 2024 at 12:00 PM CDT.
This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside contract with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The work will be performed at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas and the Kerrville VA Medical Center. The total number of quarterly water samples required is 44 at the Audie L. Murphy facility, 20 at the Kerrville facility, and 22 retest samples per quarter.

The Contractor is tasked with collecting and analyzing water samples for Legionella at the locations below in accordance with the specifications of the Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, supplies, sample analysis, reporting, shipping costs, other items, and non-personal services necessary to perform water sampling collection. The contractor s qualifications must comply with current state, and federal (EPA) requirements.
