About this opportunity
This Special Notice announces the Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command's intent to sole source a contract to Mid Atlantic Technical and Executive Consulting (MATEC) for F-35 Air Vehicle cost and pricing support. The anticipated contract would continue MATEC's current support for cost and pricing analyses across multiple F-35 Production contract negotiations until awards of Lots 15-17 are finalized.
The notice provides instructions for interested contractors to submit capability statements by January 15, 2021 to be considered for this opportunity. Eligible contractors must be certified small businesses under NAICS 541611 with the qualifications to provide the required cost and pricing analysis support. While sole sourcing the contract to current provider MATEC due to its expertise and avoiding disruption, the agency will accept capability statements from other qualified small businesses to consider for future opportunities. The Special Notice also describes the F-35 program as the next generation strike fighter system for the Navy, Air Force, Marines and allies, bringing advanced technologies to transform future air combat capabilities.
