About this opportunity

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation intends to solicit a multiple-award IDIQ contract for F-16 wing assembly components with a response deadline of October 3, 2026; no small business set-aside is anticipated.

The contract will carry five one-year ordering periods. DLA Weapons Support, located at Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting office. The procurement covers four wing assembly NSNs and associated Wyle part numbers (16W1030-754, 16W1030-753, 16W1030-792, and 16W1030-791) with an estimated maximum quantity of 45 units for delivery to SW3210.

Offerors must complete nine mandatory qualification steps before contract award, including notification of intent to qualify, certification of manufacturing and inspection facilities with tooling calibrated to Master Gauge 150360/150361 through Lockheed Martin, possession of complete engineering data packages (drawings 16W030, 16W030M1, or 16W1030 with all change notices), demonstration of manufacturing compliance and Unique Identification standards per DFARS 211.274, development and execution of a government-approved qualification test plan with 120 days' advance notice, submission of a complete test report, and provision of a pre-contract award qualification article at offeror expense for form, fit, and function evaluation within 120 days of submission. Estimated qualification cost is $55,000 with a 600-day completion timeframe. Four source qualification waiver criteria apply for entities with prior government supply history, mirror-image configurations, corporate restructuring, or prior qualification on earlier dash numbers without increased complexity or criticality.
