About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is seeking sources to provide F-16 power supplies under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with five one-year ordering periods. The agency is conducting market research to determine if commercial items or nondevelopmental items are available to meet its requirements. Interested parties should contact Michelle Mihu at DLA Aviation with capability statements, proposals, or quotations, which will be considered by the agency. The government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or pay for any information solicited.
This requirement is not expected to be set aside for small businesses. Based on the justification provided, the government has determined there are a limited number of responsible sources that can satisfy the requirement, and no other supplies will meet the agency's needs. The government does not own the data rights needed to purchase the part from additional sources, and it is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part or buy the data rights. The government anticipates a maximum quantity of 114 units, but the delivery schedule and destination are to be determined. No potential incumbents or award values are identified.
