About this opportunity
The Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking expressions of interest for Laser Ablation Technology Sample Testing through Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS), the Tank Operating Contractor (TOC) for the Hanford Site. WRPS manages approximately 56 million gallons of mixed radioactive and hazardous waste stored in 177 large underground tanks, with 27 million-gallon double-shell tanks (DSTs) currently in service. The DOE is interested in evaluating laser ablation technology for potential use in managing the Hanford Site's waste storage tanks. Interested parties should submit their expressions of interest by May 14, 2024.
This opportunity is not set aside for any specific business type.
