About this opportunity
The 145th Airlift Wing of the North Carolina Air National Guard has published a Special Notice for a sole-source contract to procure expert witness services. The contract will support the presentation of evidence and defense of claims in an active litigation case before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA).
The purpose of this Special Notice is to announce the government's intent to award a sole-source contract to LitCon Group for expert witness services, including case assessment, discovery assistance, pre-hearing services, hearing support, and post-hearing services. The contract is anticipated to last 4-5 years, with options for depositions beyond FY2024. The government has determined that LitCon Group's specialized expertise in evaluating complex delay and disruption claims, as well as its extensive experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules and Time Impact Analyses, makes it the sole responsible source that can satisfy the requirements within the needed timeline. The estimated contract value, including options, has been redacted. The deadline for this opportunity is April 11, 2024, and no set-aside is used.
