About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Southwest Regional Fleet Transportation department is seeking equipment maintenance and repair services for mobile equipment across six Marine Corps sites in California and Arizona. The scope of work includes comprehensive equipment checks, services, cleaning, refueling, and minor repair tasks at locations such as Camp Pendleton, MCAS Miramar, MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, MCLB Barstow, MCMWTC Bridgeport, and MCAS Yuma. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed in the pre-solicitation notice, contractors will need to demonstrate capability in commercial and industrial machinery and equipment repair and maintenance. The solicitation is expected to be released on SAM.gov around February 25, 2025, with potential contractors required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The anticipated period of performance will commence on April 1, 2025.
The contract opportunity is exclusively set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS code 811310, with a size standard of $12.5 million. The contract structure will be a Firm-Fixed-Price model with a base year and four potential option years, providing stability and potential long-term engagement for the selected vendor. While specific award values were not disclosed, the multi-site scope and comprehensive maintenance requirements suggest a substantial contract opportunity. The geographical coverage includes six different Marine Corps facilities across California and Arizona, indicating a complex and geographically dispersed service requirement. Prospective contractors will need to demonstrate technical expertise in equipment maintenance, repair capabilities, and the ability to support multiple locations efficiently and effectively.
