About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command is soliciting engineering services through the SeaPort NxG Multiple Award Contract (MAC) to support NSWCPD Code 335 in all aspects of solid waste equipment, afloat hazardous material (HAZMAT) control and management, and P2A equipment. This solicitation is restricted to SeaPort NxG MAC holders only and represents a competitive opportunity within the existing MAC vehicle rather than a traditional open competition. Prospective contractors must submit questions by April 18, 2026 (10 days after solicitation issuance on April 8, 2026), and the proposal due date is May 7, 2026. Government-furnished information consisting of seventeen (17) technical drawings will be provided upon written request within five days of solicitation issuance via DoD SAFE. Interested contractors should direct all inquiries regarding both the drawings and technical questions to Contract Specialist Ayelet Sartin (Ayelet.J.Sartin.civ@us.navy.mil) or Contracting Officer Angela Cusati (Angela.F.Cusati.civ@us.navy.mil).

This procurement carries no specific set-aside designation and does not identify incumbent contractors or award value information in the solicitation notice. The specific budget, contract duration, and place of performance details are not disclosed in the publicly available summary. The work falls under NAICS code 541330 (Engineering Services) and PSC code R425 (Support—Professional: Engineering/Technical), indicating that the Navy is seeking qualified engineering support contractors with relevant experience in maritime waste management and hazardous material systems. Contractors selected through this SeaPort NxG MAC task order will be expected to provide comprehensive engineering support services to the Naval Sea Systems Command facility.
