As modified in Amendment 0002, the 42,000 licenses for MacIntosh computers was reduced to 7,500 licenses.
Update #1 ·
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO OFFERORS WHO HAVE A GSA SCHEDULE 70 CONTRACT.
The purpose of this requirement is to acquire a technical solution to address securing data at rest through an encryption solution that provides a simple interface to encrypt user-selected files and facilitates sharing of protected files between HHS Operating Divisions and external business partners. The solution will prevent unauthorized access to data, accidental disclosure as a result of misplaced, misrouted, or stolen digital property, and easily facilitate the transmission of encrypted sensitive files and folders sent via email to internal and external entities. The Government anticipates requiring an enterprise wide licensing solution supporting approximately 120,000 endpoints, (Windows-based operating systems). The solution is expected to be implemented with at least six separate management domains. In addition, approximately 42,000 licenses are needed for MacIntosh computers installed at NIH and FDA.
Interested vendors with a GSA Schedule 70 Contract may find this solicitation on GSA eBuy, https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov, under RFQ423873.
