About this opportunity
The Memphis District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking engineering testing and inspection services through a competitive solicitation. The contract falls under the Testing Laboratories and Services NAICS category and specifically involves reference laboratory testing. A critical requirement for this opportunity is that all offerors must enter a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) score in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) prior to submitting their response. Contractors without a NIST score will be deemed non-responsive and will not be evaluated or considered for award. The solicitation was posted on November 8, 2024, with proposals due by January 16, 2025. Interested contractors can direct any questions to Tommye Sepulveda at the provided email address.
This solicitation is set aside exclusively for small businesses, targeting firms specializing in engineering testing and inspection services. While specific award values are not disclosed in the notice, the contract will be awarded through the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Memphis. The procurement is categorized under Product Service Code Q301 for Reference Laboratory Testing, indicating a technical and specialized service requirement. Potential contractors must carefully review the combined synopsis/solicitation document for comprehensive details about the scope of work, performance expectations, and submission requirements. The contract's geographic focus appears to be in the Memphis district, suggesting local or regional service delivery is anticipated.
