About this opportunity
NASA AFRC has a requirement to extend the current Engineering Technical Support Services (ETSS) Task Order for a total of 6 months with options for additional 2-month and 1-month extensions. The agency intends to issue a sole source task order extension to acquire the existing ETSS services from the current contractors, New Horizons Aeronautics, LLC and Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. The government expects substantial duplication of cost that would not be recovered through competition since the task orders were already competed, and the most capable offerors were previously awarded the contract. Furthermore, there is an ongoing effort to recompete the new task order.
The acquisition is not set-aside, and the government does not intend to acquire commercial items using FAR Part 12. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable, and the Center Ombudsman information is provided. The NAICS code is 541715 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences, and the PSC code is AJ11 - General Science And Technology R&D Services.
