Oklahoma City VA has a need for supervision, labor and materials of Energy Retrofits and also , Design/Build (D/B) requirements for the FY10 NRM Project: #635-10-503, to be completed throughout the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center Campus consisting of the hospital and supporting structures. Total building square footage for campus is approximately 1,000,000 SF.
A. Retrofit Lighting
This portion of the project will consist of incorporating energy conservation retrofits into the existing interior lighting and exterior lighting. Retrofits will be incorporated throughout all buildings on the site (approximately 1,000,000 SF) and all adjacent parking areas.
B. Repair Heat Recovery Loops
This portion of the project will consist of repairing and upgrading the existing glycol run-around heat recovery systems that exchange heat from exhaust air streams to pre-condition incoming outside air streams
C. Retrofit Cooling Tower Fans with VFDs
This portion of the project will consist of retrofitting the existing cooling tower fans with variable frequency drive (VFD) units.
D. Retrofit Sliding Entry Doors with New Revolving Door at Southeast Entrance to Building 1
This portion of the project will consist of demolition of existing sliding doors at the southeast entrance to building 1 and replacement with new revolving door. All work shall comply with VA specifications and standards.
E. Repair Chilled Water Distribution System
This portion of the project will consist of evaluating, repairing and upgrading the existing secondary chilled water distribution system throughout all buildings on the site (approximately 1,000,000 SF).
