About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Region 6 is seeking to lease office space in San Antonio, Texas, with expressions of interest due by August 25, 2026, and estimated occupancy in December 2026. The GSA is considering alternative space because its current lease will expire and is evaluating relocation against the cost of physical moves, tenant improvement replication, and agency downtime.
Three space configurations are under consideration: 18,894–18,900 rentable square feet (180-month full term, 120-month firm term); 10,734–10,750 square feet (180-month full term, 120-month firm term); and 10,734 square feet (180-month full term, 60-month firm term). All configurations require 40 total parking spaces, with all 40 secured.
Space will be occupied by a law enforcement agency and must not be located on the first floor. Offered space must be 1,000 feet or more away from schools, medical services, social services, law firms, and homes. Space must not be in the one-percent-annual-chance floodplain and must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards. A fully serviced lease is required. Lessors must comply with Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act, including telecommunications prohibitions as implemented by FAR.
Submit expressions of interest to the lease contracting officer. For the most recent requirement (10,734 square feet, 60-month firm term), contact Carson Melom-Lemos at carson.melom-lemos@gsa.gov. For other requirements, contact Aimee Serna at aimee.serna@gsa.gov.
