Notice text

The COMPETE project comes to an end on February 28, 2014, consequently this results in the need for an end of project evaluation. The purpose of this evaluation is to provide USAID/EA and its partners with an independent assessment of COMPETE project performance, highlighting the major achievements, strengths and weaknesses in order to learn from it and use the lessons for future regional programming. The evaluation will provide useful lessons for current and future programming in USAID/EA. Specifically, the evaluation will: (1) enable USAID/EA to determine to what extent COMPETE's objectives and goals have been achieved; (2) examine the efficiency and effectiveness of Private Public Partnerships (PPP) implementation strategy; and 3) provide a basis for decisions about future programming.
