About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is seeking to procure 10 CAT-SERIES-1300 Oxygen Deficiency Monitors and 10 CAT-13 Horn and Strobe Kits through a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Solicitation. The monitors have 3-sensor readiness, 4-horn and strobe readiness, a 0-30% measurement range, 4 adjustable alarm relays, programmable alarm events, analog outputs, serial communications, and a built-in datalogger. The contractor must provide a 3-year commercial warranty on all sensors and electronics. Offers are due by August 23, 2024, and the government will evaluate them in accordance with FAR Part 25 policies.
This procurement is set-aside for WOSB concerns and has a North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code of 811210 with a $34 million size standard. The place of performance is the contractor's facility, and the items will be delivered to Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The government has justified the use of a brand name purchase description exception to the fair opportunity process under FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B) due to the unique and highly specialized nature of the supplies.
