The total project magnitude is estimated between $250 million and $500 million if all options are exercised, representing a substantial investment in emergency infrastructure restoration. The project scope includes removing floating and subsurface debris, restoring lake functionality, and managing debris at designated Temporary Off Load and Temporary Debris Storage and Reduction sites. Contractors will be expected to work in the City of Marion, McDowell County, North Carolina, with a focus on comprehensive debris removal and environmental recovery. The size standard for the NAICS code is $45 million, and the opportunity is open to firms with demonstrated capabilities in heavy and civil engineering construction, specifically in dredging and emergency response operations.
