About this opportunity

Paragraph 1:

The Department of the Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) plans to establish a 5-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the repair of 100 items in support of the EMALS/ALRE/AAG system. The items, listed in Attachment A, will be repaired solely by General Atomics (4V360) as they are either the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or the only known source with full repair capability. The BOA will feature non-commercial items, and the government does not have complete data or drawings for these requirements. The items require government source approval prior to contract award, as they are flight critical and/or the technical data is inadequate to support full and open competition. Responses to this notice of intent are due within 15 days.

Paragraph 2:

This procurement opportunity is not set-aside. Even though the items are sole source to General Atomics, all responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations, which will be considered by the agency. The value of the 5-year BOA is not specified. Only the source previously approved by the government for repair of these items will be solicited, as the time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval.
