About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to procure 322 electron tubes under NSN 5960-00-2308366, part number 002308366. The procurement involves electronic components that are not considered commercial items, requiring the agency to follow FAR Part 15 policies for the solicitation process. The tubes must be delivered to Building Mission Door in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, with a required delivery timeframe of 304 days from contract award. Proposals will be evaluated using "best value" procedures based on three criteria: Price, Past Performance, and Delivery. The full solicitation will be made available online at http://www.dibbs.bsmdla.mil/rfp on July 16, 2025, with vendors having until that date to express interest in providing commercial alternatives to the government's non-commercial requirement. Interested suppliers have 15 days from the notice posting date to identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with commercial items.
This procurement is not set aside for small businesses and is open to full and open competition. The electron tubes are currently manufactured by the company identified under CAGE code 06980, indicating an existing source for these components. While no specific contract value is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the requirement calls for a substantial quantity of 322 units to be procured. The delivery timeline extends over 304 days, suggesting either a complex manufacturing process or an extended delivery schedule to accommodate government requirements. Vendors may submit proposals through the preferred DIBBS platform or via email to jeremy.etringer@dla.mil, with email submissions limited to 15MB. The procurement may be subject to the Trade Agreements Act of 1979, and all offers must be submitted in English using US dollars.
