About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command, through the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, is soliciting engineering, technical, logistics, and programmatic support services for a Fleet Support Team (FST) dedicated to Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) systems. This competitive procurement is open unrestricted to SeaPort-NxG Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) MAC prime holders and will result in the award of a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) task order. The solicitation was posted on February 19, 2026, with a proposal deadline of March 23, 2026, allowing interested contractors approximately one month to prepare and submit their proposals. Prior to this solicitation, the government conducted market research through three separate sources sought announcements issued in November 2024, January 2025, and July 2025 to ensure industry awareness. While specific evaluation criteria were not detailed in this notice, all solicitation documents, amendments, and controlled documents will be available through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module and SAM.gov.
This procurement carries no set-aside designations and represents a continuation of work currently performed under existing task orders N0016419F3010 and N0016423F3008. The resultant task order will be structured with a one-year base period followed by four optional one-year periods, providing a potential five-year performance window if all options are exercised. While the specific contract value is not disclosed in this notice, the CPFF contracting approach indicates reimbursement of allowable costs plus a fixed fee. All work will be performed at the place of performance in Crane, Indiana, home to NSWC Crane and a significant naval research and development facility. Contractors interested in submitting proposals should monitor SAM.gov and the PIEE Solicitation Module for any amendments or clarifications issued prior to the March 23, 2026 deadline.
