About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 125 electrodes (NSN 1H-6630-016653565-X2) with Technical Data Package (TDP) Version 011. The procurement will be delivered FOB Origin, and the government retains full rights to the technical data package, which is complete and includes no manufacturing restrictions. The solicitation indicates the potential for full and open competition, with interested parties advised to obtain necessary specifications and standards from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) through Document Automation and Production Service. While the government intends to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Proposals, quotations, or capability statements submitted within 45 days of publication (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) will be considered, though the government retains sole discretion in determining competitive procurement.

The pre-solicitation notice does not indicate a specific set-aside designation, and no incumbent contractors are mentioned. The contract involves a relatively small quantity of 125 electrodes, classified under Product Service Code (PSC) 6630 for Chemical Analysis Instruments. The opportunity is part of the Naval Supply Systems Command's procurement process, with a posted date of January 29, 2025, and a response due date of March 2, 2025. Potential vendors can access required documentation through ASSIST-Online or by contacting the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk, with most documents available in Adobe PDF format. The government's approach suggests a targeted procurement with potential for limited competition, depending on the technical data package and available sources meeting the specific requirements.
