About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 1,200 units of electrodes under NSN 1H-5977-004028529-L1. This Level 1 acquisition requires contractors to have inspection systems that conform to MIL-I-45208A or equivalent standards, as certified by a Joint DCMA/NAVSUP WSS survey team. The government possesses complete technical data package rights with no restrictions, making this opportunity eligible for full and open competition. Contracts will only be awarded to approved sources that meet the stringent quality requirements. The solicitation response deadline is September 16, 2025, and interested parties must include their CAGE code when requesting solicitation documents.
This procurement opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, limiting participation to qualified small business entities. The contract specifies delivery FOB origin for all 1,200 electrode units. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are mentioned in the pre-solicitation notice. The technical data package version 021 governs the specifications, and the A/RMSC designation indicates this item qualifies for competitive bidding among multiple sources. All necessary military specifications, standards, and documentation can be obtained through the DoD Single Stock Point or the ASSIST-Online system for interested contractors to review requirements and prepare their proposals.
