Added: Sep 15, 2010 8:13 am The United States Air Force, Aeronautical Systems Center, Operational Contracting Division, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-5344 is preparing to solicit for a firm-fixed price contract for 24 grams of SEO100 Electro-Optic Polymer and 6 grams of SEO200 Electro-Optic Polymer. The contract line items will be firm-fixed price. Polymers shall meet the requirements contained in the specifications below:

1) Polymers shall have the highest organic based electro-optic activity (highest available is r33)
2) Vendor must have inventory available in quantities adequate for meaningful research (>5 grams)
3) Stability of the material after it has been processed
4) Must be compatible with our current available in-house processing capability



Delivery for the polymers should be 1 month after receipt of order (ARO). FOB Destination.
We intend to award this contract sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered. The sole source is: Soluxra, LLC. 18251 58 Ave NE Kenmore, WA 98028.
At this time no small business set-aside is expected. NAICS Code 325211, Size Standard 500 employees.

An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of the proposals, or the source selection process.
