About this opportunity

The Department of Defense has issued a Special Notice for an Industry Day site visit related to the Eglin Operation and Maintenance Services (EOMS) II federal contract opportunity. The purpose of this notice is to inform interested contractors of an upcoming two-day site visit event at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida on October 28-29, 2024. The EOMS II contract will provide operation and maintenance services in support of research, development, test, evaluation, and training missions involving military aerospace equipment and weapons.

The site visit is strictly voluntary and will not affect a firm's ability to submit an offer if a solicitation is released. Participation is limited to two representatives per company, and registration is required by October 7, 2024 to allow for base access processing. The agenda includes tours of various Eglin range facilities and on-base locations, with a focus on general support services, range support, instrumentation systems, explosive test facilities, and major ground test facilities. While most activities will occur at Eglin AFB, some may require support at other locations within and outside the continental United States. Foreign participation will not be authorized if a solicitation is released.
