About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District is seeking ecological services through a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for resource investigations across the Mississippi River Basin. The solicitation covers investigations that may occur on federal, state, or privately owned properties within multiple USACE districts, including Memphis, Vicksburg, New Orleans, Rock Island, St. Louis, and St. Paul. The government intends to award at least three separate BPAs to qualified contractors providing scientific and technical consulting services under NAICS code 541690. Interested small businesses must submit their proposals by April 8, 2025, with questions directed to Ms. Alexandria Duckett via email. The solicitation is specifically focused on comprehensive ecological resource investigations that support potential federal project studies and assessments.
This contract opportunity is set aside exclusively for small businesses, targeting firms specializing in scientific and technical consulting services. The investigations will likely involve environmental assessments, ecological surveys, and resource mapping within the extensive Mississippi River Basin region. While specific award values are not disclosed, the BPA structure suggests multiple contractors may receive task orders based on their capabilities and qualifications. The place of performance encompasses a large geographical area spanning multiple USACE districts, indicating potential for flexible, wide-ranging ecological service requirements. The contract mechanism allows the government to efficiently engage qualified small businesses for ongoing resource investigation needs without committing to a single comprehensive contract.
