The reason for this modification (01) is to reply to questions received regarding combined synopsis/solicitation #N66604-15-Q-2032.

Question:  How important is the weight of the motor in this project?  Manufacturer says meeting other spec may cause heavier motor.
Response:  It is very important and has a direct effect on the design as a whole.

The reason for this modification (02) is to reply to questions received regarding combined synopsis/solicitation #N66604-15-Q-2032.

Question:  Is it possible to know how a linear motor is going to be used to develop an "acoustic source"? A brief explanation will do.
Response:  The motor is going to be incorporated into a housing and coupled to a radiating face to act as an acoustic source.

The reason for this modification (03) is to dissolve the small business set-aside.  This procurement is hereby unrestricted and the solicitation closing date is extended from 08 May 2015 to 22 May 2015 @ 2:00 PM Eastern time.
