About this opportunity
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new 10-year (5-year base with a 5-year option) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The scope of the contract includes performing research, development, test and evaluation, procurement, maintenance, support, systems engineering, and/or sustainment to provide scientific and technological solutions to meet the DoD priority Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) objectives. These objectives include reducing incentives to pursue, possess, and employ WMD; increasing barriers to the acquisition, proliferation, and use of WMD; managing WMD risks emanating from hostile, fragile, or failed states and safe havens; and denying the effects of current and emerging WMD threats through layered, integrated defenses.
This procurement is not set-aside, and there is no information provided on any potential incumbents or current contractors. The award value or budget range is not specified, but the contract duration is 10 years. The place of performance is not explicitly stated, but the CWMD objectives suggest that the work may be conducted at various locations as needed to support the DoD's priorities in this domain.
